📖 Reading Passage: Urban Farming — Growing Food in the City
Paragraph A
Urban farming, the practice of growing food within cities, has experienced remarkable growth in recent decades. What was once a niche hobby has become a global movement, with city dwellers around the world transforming rooftops, abandoned lots, and even underground spaces into productive gardens. The United Nations estimates that approximately 800 million people worldwide are now engaged in some form of urban agriculture.
