Dạng này là gì?

Đề cho bạn một sơ đồ (diagram) hoặc lưu đồ quy trình (flow chart) với các chỗ trống. Bạn phải điền từ từ passage để hoàn thành sơ đồ.

Chiến lược 5 bước

  1. Nhìn tổng thể sơ đồ/flow chart — hiểu chủ đề và quy trình
  2. Xác định thứ tự — flow chart thường theo thứ tự (bước 1 → 2 → 3)
  3. Dự đoán loại từ cần điền (noun? verb? number?)

Bài tập 1: Flow Chart Completion

Đọc passage:

Paper recycling is a multi-step process that begins with the collection of used paper from homes and businesses. The collected paper is first transported to a recycling facility, where it is sorted by type and grade. Magazines, newspapers, and cardboard are separated because each requires different processing.

Once sorted, the paper is fed into large machines that shred it into small pieces. These pieces are then mixed with water and chemicals to create a mushy substance called pulp. During the pulping process, inks and other contaminants are removed using a combination of washing, filtering, and sometimes a de-inking process that uses air bubbles to float ink particles to the surface.

The clean pulp is then spread onto large screens and pressed to remove excess water. The thin sheets pass through heated rollers that dry them completely. Finally, the dried paper is wound into large rolls, which are cut to size and shipped to manufacturers who use the recycled paper to make new products such as newspapers, tissue paper, and packaging materials.

Solar panels convert sunlight into electricity through a process called the photovoltaic effect. When sunlight hits the silicon cells in a solar panel, it knocks electrons loose from their atoms. These free electrons flow through the cell, creating direct current (DC) electricity. An inverter then converts this DC electricity into alternating current (AC), which is the type of electricity used in most homes and businesses.

There are three main types of solar panels available today. Monocrystalline panels, made from a single crystal of silicon, are the most efficient, converting up to 22% of sunlight into electricity. However, they are also the most expensive. Polycrystalline panels, made from multiple silicon crystals, offer lower efficiency — around 15-17% — but are more affordable. Thin-film panels are the cheapest option and are lightweight and flexible, but they have the lowest efficiency at only 10-12%.

💡 Common Traps & Tips

  1. Bẫy thứ tự ngược: Flow chart từ trên xuống nhưng passage mô tả từ dưới lên

    • Đọc kỹ passage — đừng assume thứ tự giống flow chart!

  2. Bẫy dạng từ: Flow chart dùng passive (is + __) nhưng passage dùng active

    • “The paper is shredded” (passive) ↔ “machines shred it” (active) — cần điền “shredded”

  3. Bẫy chỗ trống nhiều: Flow chart có 7-8 chỗ trống → mất nhiều thời gian

    • May mắn thông tin thường tập trung trong 1-2 đoạn!

  4. Bẫy từ thừa trong diagram: Diagram có labels sẵn → đọc kỹ để hiểu context

    • Labels xung quanh giúp bạn dự đoán loại từ cần điền!

  5. Bẫy word limit: “NO MORE THAN ONE WORD” nhưng đáp án cần 2 từ

    • Kiểm tra word limit! Nếu 1 từ → chọn từ quan trọng nhất
