📋 Speculating & Predicting trong Part 3
Giám khảo thường hỏi câu hỏi về tương lai hoặc giả định:
- “What do you think will happen in the future?”
- “How might things change?”
- “Do you think X will become more common?”
Bạn cần biết cách suy đoán (speculate) và dự đoán (predict) một cách tự nhiên!
🔮 Mức độ chắc chắn (Levels of Certainty)

How do you think education will change in the next 20 years?
“That’s an interesting question. I believe education will change dramatically in the coming decades. It’s likely that online learning will become even more popular, and traditional classrooms might be replaced by virtual ones.
I predict that artificial intelligence will play a bigger role in personalizing how students learn. If this trend continues, every student could have their own customized learning path.
However, it remains to be seen whether this will actually improve the quality of education, because human interaction is still very important for children’s development.”
Do you think people will still read books in the future?
“I’m fairly certain that people will still read, but the format might change. Physical books may become less common, whereas e-books and audiobooks are likely to grow in popularity.
I wouldn’t be surprised if libraries started to look very different — perhaps more like digital hubs than rooms full of bookshelves. That said, I doubt that physical books will disappear completely, because many people, including myself, prefer the experience of holding a real book.”

Ghi âm câu trả lời (45-60 giây):
- How will the way people communicate change in the future?
- Do you think traditional jobs will still exist in 50 years?
- Will people travel more or less in the future?
- How might cities look different in 2050?
Bài 3: If… Then Chain
Tạo chuỗi dự đoán:
Ví dụ: If more people work from home → then traffic will decrease → which could lead to cleaner air → and this might make cities more liveable.
Thử với:
- If AI becomes smarter → then… → which could… → and this might…
- If the population keeps growing → then… → which could… → and this might…
💡 Mẹo quan trọng
- 🎯 Đừng nói quá chắc chắn về tương lai — dùng “might”, “could”, “probably” để tự nhiên hơn
- 🔄 Trộn các mức độ trong 1 câu trả lời — không phải mọi thứ đều “will” hay đều “might”
- 💬 Thêm điều kiện — “If technology continues to improve…” nghe thông minh hơn “Technology will improve”
- 🤔 Dùng “It’s hard to predict, but…” khi cần thời gian suy nghĩ
